On Wednesday 8th February 2006 the launch will take place of the Institute of Legal Cashiers & Administrators (ILCA) SOFTWARE USERS AWARD 2006. This will be held at the Legal IT 2006 Exhibition, Business Design Centre, Islington, London where the ILCA will be hosting Stand 63.

Whilst monitoring the ILCA’s website it was noted that the Bulletin Board received a large number of requests from members wanting to know how other members think about the legal accounts package they use. From this the idea of the SOFTWARE USERS AWARD came about.

Voting will take place via the ILCA’s website, www.ilca.org.uk, and gives users the opportunity to express their views about the software they use. Voting will cease the end of July 2006.

The award will be presented to the winner at the ILCA’s Annual Luncheon on 20th September 2006. Both the Award and the Luncheon are being sponsored by Key Business Finance Corporation Plc, a finance house which specialises in financing the legal profession.
