The ILCA have decided to introduce a voluntary scheme for members to record their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points. Although not compulsory we are aware that many of our members record their points for their own personal use or for their employers training record. We think it is a vital component in our long term plans to be officially recognised by the forthcoming Legal Services Board as evidence of the high professional standard of our members. As a first step towards that goal I am pleased to announce that there is now provision within the member’s area of The ILCA website a downloadable form for your individual completion and retention.
In order to access the CPD Page on The ILCA Website you MUST be logged in as a registered user.
Once logged in you will now see a small arrow on the “TRAINING” Menu Tab, hover your mouse cursor over the “TRAINING” Tab and a dropdown box displays “CPD”, simply click on this to go to the CPD page as shown below.
There are two “Tabbed” areas of the CPD Page; the first is a short descriptive section where posts will be made to update the membership on CPD news. The second allows you to download an Acrobat PDF version of the CPD Record for your personal use; there is also a link to download Adobe Acrobat Reader if you do not already have a copy. The recording of CPD points is voluntary at the moment but we would recommend keeping your record up to date.
