The results are in for this year’s ILCA Salary Survey. The Institute of Legal Cashiers & Administrators in association with legalsupportnetwork.co.uk, have been busy collating data to produce an essential salary reference guide for financial staff. The survey is divided into three regions - London, South and Midlands/North, and identifies 28 different job titles from Office Assistant to Practice Manager. Discussion and feedback is encouraged to build a greater understanding of specific regions and to achieve the goal of providing the ultimate UK financial salary guide.
David Sparkes, managing director of legalsupportnetwork.co.uk, says, “The opportunity to conduct the UK Legal Accounts Salary Survey for the second year with the ILCA has once again demonstrated to the LSN team that there is a thirst from the industry for such information. During our research we rely on feedback from users of legalsupportnetwork.co.uk, employers, recruiters and members of the ILCA to contribute their knowledge of salaries. The challenge has been the understanding of regional differences and what can only be described as ‘blurred lines’ between roles, skill-sets and job titles. We hope that professionals in the industry will find the results useful”.
Full details of the Survey can be viewed in the News section at www.ilca.org.uk/survey2008.
It also appears in the May/June issue of Legal Abacus magazine. If you would like to make a comment please email lsn@legalsupportnetwork.co.uk and for ongoing results, visit their web site at www.legalsupportnetwork.co.uk.
